2290 Saxony Court, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, L5H 4B5

An 18,000 square foot mansion in Mississauga, Ontario once priced as high as $11 million has sold for just $6.2 million at auction according to The Star.  The 23-room mansion was built by Ambassador Fine Custom Homes, and owned by the company owner Michael Cerny.  The masterpiece features hand picked crema marfil marble from Spain, 10 foot Honduran mahogany doors, 23 foot coffered ceilings, plank-sized North American white oak flooring, and a floor to ceiling hard carved marble fireplace mantel.

Ritchies held the auction which also included a variety of other items including a 10.10 ct yellow gold ring, Patek Phillipe wristwatches, a Rolex, and several other high end items.  It’s reported that the previous owner spent close to $7 million constructing the home.
