Mansion Featured in Bates Motel Up For Sale

An iconic Langley estate made a small cameo in last week’s latest episode of the critically acclaimed series Bates Motel on A&E.  The mansion which has been referred to as a ‘Turn of the Century’ European equestrian paradise offers just over 4,300 square feet with a clock tower, gatehouse, atrium, chapel, stables, riding ring, and private lake.

The residence is situated on a private 16.55 acre estate about 40 minutes from Downtown Vancouver.  In the episode the home belongs to new character Jodi Wilson (Kathleen Robertson) who is the head of one of the drug families in White Pine Bay.  She can be seen escorting Dylan Massett (Max Thieriot) from hospital to the residence for some rest.

Jodi’s European-style estate is located about 19 minutes North of the filming location for Norma’s mansion & motel.  We visited Bates Motel a couple weeks ago.  Filming for Season 2 wrapped late last year, so the mansion has been boarded up and surrounded in fencing.  According to a recent video posted by Bates Motel on A&E Norma’s mansion & motel were designed, built & furnished in 6 weeks.
